Gery Georgieva
Gery Georgieva was born in 1986 in Varna. She has lived in London since 1988 where she currently works. She graduated from Goldsmiths University, London. BA in Fine Art & History of Art in 2009 and is a recent graduate from the Royal Academy Schools. Georgieva’s work encompasses video, sculpture, performance, multimedia installations and occasional musical collaborations. Recent solo projects include: На Чешмата (At the Source), Block Universe, London, (2018), The Blushing Valley, Swimming Pool Projects Sofia (2017), Polythene Queen, Hunter/Whitfield (2017); Original Cheese, ANDOR (2016) and Solo Romantika, at Res., (2015) as well as screenings at Whitechapel Gallery London (2018) South London Gallery (2018) Schirn Kunsthalle Frankfurt (2018), Royal Academy of Arts (2017), MOCA Cleveland, Ohio US (2016), Frieze Art Fair, London (2015) & Random Acts, Channel 4 (2015) amongst others.
