Ivan Paskalev

Ivan Paskalev was born in 1980 in Sofia. In 2011, he graduated in Fine Arts and Art History from the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU), Munich. As of 2010 through to 2013 he has been a co-organizer of the VLCV, Club Vlaikova, Sofia. In 2014, he is a scientific assistant for the Digital Visualization Concepts Project of the Art Education Institute at the LMU and the eUnivercity LMU, Munich. In 2011, he took part in the K-R-T creative residence programme, Krakow, Poland. In 2003, he joined the Volksmop Royal video art team. In 2004, he participated in Double Feature in ZKMax, Munich; Bubu Nation project of Aiko Okamoto (2006-2008); Sofia Spionage, PLATFORM3, Munich (2009); Vice Photo Tour, Bulgaria (2009). In 2014, his solo exhibition WIN-WIN-DOWSE, DotDotCommaArt, Munich, took place. Auf Papier, KARL PFEFFERLE Gallery, Munich (2016). In 2017, he won the prize of the 2nd Bavarian Video Art Biennial, VIDEODOX, Galerie der Künstler BBK, Munich.
