Contemporary Space will be hosting orthogonal, the international forum on geometric abstraction, for the second time in a row. The forum’s exhibition will show the work of a dozen artists from 7 countries – Eugen Gomringer (Switzerland), Ingo Glass (Romania/Germany), Esther Hagenmaier, Gisela Hoffmann (Germany), Patrick Morrissey, Hanz Hancock (UK), Judith Duquemin (Australia/UK), Erdem Küçükköroğlu (Turkey), Nikolay Petkov, Petar Dochev, Ivan Shumanov, Georgi Dimitrov (Bulgaria). Concrete poetry, photography and sculpture will be presented along with painting, drawing, wall installation and animation.
The project is supported by Goethe-institut, Gaudenz B. Ruf Award, Pro Helvetia, Institute for Constructive Art and Concrete Poetry/Kunsthaus Rehau and Saturation Point, London.
